Schlumberger Indonesia - Facility Coordinator

Job Summary: The Facility coordinator is responsible for operating and maintaining a facility safely, securely, cost-effectively and in an environmentally-sound manner, aiming to preserve the long-term asset value.

Reporting Line: 
Reports to Schlumberger Kalimantan Facility Manager

Working Location: 
Facility coordinator will work in Palaran, East Kalimantan

Employment Type: 
Facility coordinator will be hire as contractor for 1 year duration with possibility of extension

Job Description:
  • Implement best practices in facility operations and maintenance and ensure a consistent professional image for the facility.
  • Implement systems for tracking facility management costs. In conjunction with local management, develop and track specific facility management key performance indicators.
  • Supervise the Facility Management organization and assist the location management with budget estimates, progress and cost tracking reports, permits and license requirements, and contractor selection.
  • In conjunction with Supply Chain and Legal, provide advice on preparing contracts, and review negotiations for revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Implement quality control programs using LEAN methodology to standardize and optimize facility performance in line with the Global Facility Management strategy.
  • Plan, direct and supervise facility management services including operating systems, maintenance processes, repair and improvement, custodial services and security operations.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to optimize productivity and utilization of personnel and equipment.
Qualification and Behavior:
  • Fluent in English and ability to communicate in regional languages is an asset
  • Strong leadership to lead the team achieve the objectives

Requirement:
  • Minimum diploma degree majoring on engineering (bachelor’s degree will be preferred) from reputable university
  • MCDST, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA and/or A+ certifications would be an asset
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and tools, office applications including email.
  • Has basic understanding/experience on shore base operation
  • Has basic knowledge about marine regulation
  • Good understanding about mechanical lifting
  • Experience on the environmental regulation
  • Experience on swamp oilfield operation will be preferable  
Scope of Work:
  • Manage accommodation related task in the facility such as monitoring accommodation request, supervise room cleaning activities, ensure laundry services handled properly by 3rd party provider, ensure meals serving time, qty & quality review time to time together with the on-board medic and pest control applied regularly.
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal include management and handling of solid & liquid hazardous waste generated within SLB operation in Palaran including collection, sorting and preparation for disposal by Schlumberger approved third parties
  • Supervise overall repairs and maintenance related task in Palaran
  • Monitor energy usage and ensure all building systems are operating at their inherent peak efficiency and maximizing their design capabilities. Recommend upgrades where required and suggest ways to improve efficiency by changing operating procedures or utilizing more energy efficient controls and equipment. Monitor industry trends and regulations and, where practical, present competitive and reliable sourcing opportunities in the open market
