01. ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL (MSD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Designing, implementing, or improving electrical facilities or systems for building or workshop purposes.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings or topographical maps.
• Establishing construction, manufacturing or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, documentation, support or testing activities.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Working with a variety of technicians.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Estimating material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Planning, organising, controlling, integrating, and completing electrical engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Perform and coordinate project execution and control, including tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e., fabrication, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance/quality control. This includes planning and control of the electrical scope and interfacing with other disciplines (e.g. mechanical and electrical).
• Schedule and monitor project progress.
• Prepare and submit report to the superior regarding project progress status on a regular basis.
• Promote and reinforce compliance with the KPC HSE rules and regulations among all employees.
• Monitor HSE aspects of projects activities.
• Provide feedback to Supt on applying the most optimum design, work method and material to maintain cost efficiency.
• Check and verify expenditures within limitations of operational & project budget.
• Find inefficiency root causes; contribute to determine action plan; measure results and develop standard operating procedure.

Qualifications:
• Strata 1 Electrical Engineer.
• Qualified certification for electrical competency.
• 3 years’ experience in electrical system project.
• Experience in electrical project execution.
• Having experience as lead of several project related to electrical project.

02. ENGINEER – CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION (MSD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Observe mining equipment for researching, designing and developing new systems and device in order to control, monitor and regulate existing process and operations.
• Conduct writing reports and documentation.
• Calculate the required materials and cost estimation.
• Develop trial protocol & test procedures.
• Collaborating with a team of experts and engineers.
• Ensure that mining equipment, all vehicles and infrastructures work safely and efficiently.
• Carry out testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments.
• Install sensor device, develop program and display on human interface.
• Analysing, interpreting data and presenting findings in written report.
• Planning, organising, controlling, integrating, and completing Control and Instrumentation engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Perform and coordinate project execution and control, including tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e., fabrication, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance/quality control. This includes planning and control of the Control and Instrumentation scope and interfacing with other disciplines (e.g. mechanical and electrical).
• Schedule and monitor project progress.
• Prepare and submit report to the superior regarding project progress status on a regular basis.

03. ENGINEER – MECHANICAL (CPHD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Plan and carry out engineering program, including development of design, calculation and technical review.
• Coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolution of engineering design and test problems.
• Coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organising, controlling, integrating, and completing engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Perform, coordinate and supervise project execution and control, including tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e., fabrication, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance/quality control.
• Assess risks on the project and implement controls.
• Schedule and monitor project progress.
• Prepare and submit report to Superintendent on project progress status on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of KPC HSE programs and practices.
• Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.
• Determine improvement target; find inefficiency root causes; determine and implement action plan; measure results; standardise; and continue the same process to other costly or inefficient programs using continuous improvement methods.

Qualifications:
• Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• As a guide, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical project construction and/or bulk material handling / conveyor and/or mining environment.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience in implementing Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
• Detailed understanding of mining industry.
• Good knowledge in Mechanical Standards and Codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong concerns for HSES.

04. ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL (CPHD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Plan and carry out engineering program, including development of design, calculation and technical review.
• Coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolution of engineering design and problems.
• Maintain fixed plant PLC program, SCADA. Including its servers.
• Coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Perform, coordinate and supervise project execution and control, including tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e., fabrication, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance/quality control.
• Assess risks on the project and implement controls.
• Schedule and monitor project progress.
• Prepare and submit report to Superintendent on project progress status on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of KPC HSE programs and practices.
• Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree (S1) Electrical or Physics majoring in Control system or Instrumentation.
• Minimal 3 years’ intensive experiences in Electrical – Automation & Control System fields.
• Having on hand experiences to do programming on Siemens S7-300 PLC, Siemens WinCC and Schneider Citect Scada Systems.
• Extensive knowledge of field devices, sensors and actuators, industrial data communication, motors and variable speed drives.
• Experience and familiar with related standard (IEC, IEEE, AS, PUIL).
• Sound problem solving and decision making competencies.
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to influence and deal with a diverse range of personnel.
• Sound Project management competency.
• Financial skills to handle project and budget responsibilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication. Skills in both English and Indonesian, to liaise with internal and external contacts.
• Strong concerns for HSES.
