1. ENGINEER – MECHANICAL (MSD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Lead development, implementation, and monitoring of Reliability Management program: Reliability Engineer under Mtce System will cover MSD and dept. beyond HTM & HEM; Reliability Engineer under HTM & HEM will cover each section under his/her department.
• Conduct Performance Monitoring of selected fleet and send their reports regularly.
• Conduct Reliability Analysis (RCM, RCA, FMEA, etc.) as required.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Maintenance Policy.
• Ensure KPI for Equipment Performance, Maintenance Process Performance, Financial Performance, and Equipment Safety Performance reported on certain interval.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Team to do Reliability Analysis and implement Maintenance Policy.
• Conduct FMEA for new failure mode.
• Prepare RCM Analysis and involve on it.
• Facilitate RCM Analysis if he/she already completed the RCM Facilitator training.
• Ensure Failure Mode in Ivara in line with Failure Component and Failure Mechanism in Ellipse.
• Conduct Component Life Evaluation (CLE), minimum once a year, when budgeting process on going.
• Submit FMEA Report.
• Submit Component Life Evaluation (CLE) Report.
• Produce Reliability Management KPI Report.
• Ensure RCM Analysis is “live”, and develop it to become trouble shooting guide.
• Provide and maintain Reliability Database (Ivara) and Failure Database.
• Link Reliability Database to Ellipse and Dispatch.
• Involve in reliability improvement initiative.
• Ensure Equipment Safety Performance conducted regularly.
• To look after projects of fabrication, construction and installation of mechanical related facilities (such as piping, pumps, tanks, towers). Including in this task is to produce cost estimation of each projects in detail.
• To look after civil and electrical projects, coordinate with and backed up by civil and electrical engineer or other associated and relevant parties.
• Communicate with users, maintainer and supplier of heavy equipment, mobile equipment, or other type of assets, to obtain detailed data and information to be used in the context of acquiring additional assets.
• Draft technical drawing and initiate technical investigation, including technical calculations, as reference to the mechanical projects.’

Qualifications:
• S1 qualification in mechanical engineering from a reputable university with minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Has RCM Facilitator certification is preferable.
• Has understanding of equipment reliability. Experience on conducting Reliability Analysis.
• Able to operate computer software packages: Ellipse, Dispatch, MinVu, MS-Word, MS-Excel Advanced, MS-Access, MS-Power Point, Minitab.
• Advance statistic.
• Good communication (written and oral) skills in English (level 5) and Indonesian.

2. ENGINEER – CIVIL (CPHD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Lead and monitor of all non-pit roads (seal road) maintenance, include drainage, pond, earthwork, slope stability, bridge, stockpile, etc.
• Create design, costing and develop specifications for road, drainage and earthwork projects in general.
• Support Procurement in preparing tender documents for prebid meeting and subsequent technical clarification to find the best Contractor for the project.
• Conduct problem investigations which are identified in the areas and support the investigations with relevant data such as road condition and dimension, load and frequent traffic, and other factors extracted from technical guidance, and field conditions. Results, conclusions and recommendations should be presented in a formal written report to the Superintendent.
• Preparing cost calculation for section’s projects and operations based on standards, and prepare Capital Expenditure Application’s draft.

Qualifications:
• Engineering degree in Civil is essential with at least 3 years prior experience in a Civil Work.
• Have good civil work design analysis skills and must be able to check design results in at least in two different ways.
• Ability to write clear, concise, relevant reports - usually with detailed recommendations. Ideally these reports should be in English language.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Ability to work with structural civil software and/or storm water drainage & hydraulic software.
• Having a good knowledge of general health, safety and environmental procedures and standards in construction.

3. ENGINEER – CIVIL (MDD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Promote and reinforce compliance with KPC’s safety rules and regulations to all staff and contractors.
• Promote and reinforce compliance with KPC’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management policies.
• Monitor operational activities to identify non-conformance and taking the appropriate corrective measures, prticularly with regards to Fatality Prevention Elements.
• Identifying and propose necessary Capex for each senior engineer area responsibility.
• Supervise approved CEA cost utilization.
• Manage team relationship with related parties (internal and external MDD) and resolve issues in a timely and adequate manner.
• Support Supt. Civil & Env planning to determine improvement targets, look for inefficiencies and the root causes, determine and implement action plans, measure results.
• Provide haul road designs, road diversion, underpass, open channel, underground tunnel, and other civil works within mine areas as per each engineer’s area responsibility.
• Provide scheduling of long term dredging allocations.
• Provide long term global water management in overall KPC Mine Site (catchments area, water flowing, pump directions and requirements, sump, etc) as per each engineer’s area responsibility following official released 5YP version.
• Identify and provide High Level designs of Sediment ponds requirements based on official released Five Year Planning.
• Provide detail design of water management infrastructure project.
• Inspect and report existing sediment ponds regularly.

Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Hydrology or Environment Engineering.
• Extensive experience and proven skills in mine civil and water management, or in associated high level civil planning roles. As a guide, Three (3) years plus experience should be used.
• Strong Engineering skill.
• Strong Analytical Thinking & problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to produce reports and to deal with a diverse range of personnel.

4. ENGINEER – CONTROL & INSTRUMENTATION (MSD)
(Fixed Term Position)

• Observe mining equipment for researching, designing and developing new systems and device in order to control, monitor and regulate existing process and operations.
• Conduct writing reports and documentation.
• Calculate the required materials and cost estimation.
• Develop trial protocol & test procedures.

5. ENGINEER – CONTROL SYSTEM
(Fixed Term Position)

• Able to programming, Modify and troubleshooting of PLC (Siemen S7 & Allan Bradley).

• Provide FMEA, RCA for Coal Fire Power Plant & Diesel Generator and developing maintenance Schedule Task for technician.

6. ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL (CPHD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Carry out Control & Instrumentation and Electrical Power engineering programs, including development of design, Engineering, calculation and technical review. This includes initiating, supervising and checking the control & instrumentation and electrical design, calculation and drawings, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Planning, organizing, controlling, integrating and completing Control and Electrical projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Schedule and monitor project progress.
• Perform root cause analysis for system / plant failure.
• Lead and conduct plant troubleshooting and rectification process to minimize production interruption.

• Coordinate interface between Contractor’s work and KPC’s operating plant activities.

• Coordinate development of engineering drawing with Technical coordinator and Contractor.
• Check and verify expenditures within limitation of Operational and Project budget.
• Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of KPC HSE programs and practices, including Contractor under his supervision. Appropriate corrective measures.
• Determine improvement target; find inefficiency root causes; determine and implement action plan; measure results; standardize; and continue the same process to other costly or inefficient programs using continuous improvement methods.
• To find inefficiency on current facility operation and business process to improve its performance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Electrical/Control/Physics Engineering.
• More than 3 years plus of relevant industry/management experiences.
• Extensive experience and proven skills in Electrical and Control Instrumentation Industries. Having experiences in Electrical/Control Instrumentation project and maintenance at mining industry will be an advantageous.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English, to liaise with KPC personnel, contractor, external supplier and consultant.
• Ability to work with a diverse team of professionals and plant/equipment operators.

7. ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL (MSD)

9.SPECIALIST – SAFETY TRAINING
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Develop safety training programme materials such as training aids, slides, hand-outs, etc. in order to optimise the effectiveness and consistency of the safety competency development programme.
• Deliver the safety training for KPC and Contractors employees in order to raise skill and competency levels.
• Demonstrate and encourage the acceptance and implementation of KPC's HSE policies and HSE management system elements in daily training activities.
• Demonstrate during all training activities, high standards of safe practices and housekeeping. Act as a role model in implementation and conduct safety training in a manner which will encourage and motivate trainees to want to learn.
• Monitor trainee progress in learning during training sessions and provide appropriate feedback to ensure training objectives are being met.
• Prepare for training course delivery in a timely manner to ensure training resources and materials are ready, trainee hand-outs are printed, training room and computing equipment prepared and trainees confirmed to attend.
• Assess course participants to ensure that learning outcomes have been met.  This includes ensuring that assessments are fully supervised, assessment test content and results remain confidential and ensuring that the practical testing process is controlled by maintaining high testing standards.

Qualifications:
• Minimum requirement for education levels is degree in Health & Safety Management with work experience in safety practices on coal mine industry 3 years.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum level 6 English and higher for some areas according to the discipline.
• Facilitation skills, presentation skill, and time management.
•Competent training skills gained through formal Train the Trainer training and on the job coaching/experience.
• Having experience in Rescue & Basic Life Support.
• Initiative and the ability to conduct a systematic assessment on the effectiveness of communication medium.

10. ENGINEER – MECHANICAL (CPHD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Plan and carry out engineering program, including development of design, calculation and technical review.
• Coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolution of engineering design and test problems.
• Coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organising, controlling, integrating, and completing engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Perform, coordinate and supervise project execution and control, including tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e., fabrication, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance/quality control.
• Assess risks on the project and implement controls.

• Detailed understanding of mining industry.
• Good knowledge in Mechanical Standards and Codes.

11. ENGINEER - PROJECT
(Fixed Term Position)
Key elements of the position include:

• Evaluate project schedule and specification to ensure KPC standard specification and procedures are applied to proposed design of construction prior to execution, and provide some recommendations as appropriate.
• Monitor and supervise construction and installation M&E works during project execution to ensure the project specification is met during project commissioning within quality, time and cost parameters as described on the project plan.
• Provide summary reports to ensure that project’s budget meet the objectives and highlight any project issues may disrupt the project completion.
• Co-ordinate with a number project groups and ensure the work commitments meet the expectations.
• Liaise with other team members and project groups to describe project and material designs, requirements, specification, etc.
• Liaise with the stakeholder to understand the requirements in order to obtain approval for the proposed design and specification.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to address problem areas, check that people are adhering to agreed KPC safety regulations and standards.
• Provide analysis mechanical and electrical scope for new building construction, workshop, etc if needed.

Qualifications:
• Qualification in Engineering, preferably from Civil,  mechanical or electrical Engineering or other discipline with equivalent training and experience
• Extensive (minimum 3 years) experience in mechanical or electrical works.
• Have good experience in managing project activities, including civil, mechanical and electrical services with substantial project management experience.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English, to liaise with KPC personnel, contractors and external suppliers, consultants.

12. SENIOR DRAFTSMAN (MECHANICAL)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Work with engineer and internal client to solve engineering design related problem.
• Delivering appropriate design based on basic economic and ergonomic concept, quality, and assurance techniques.
• Supervise, check, and inspect mechanical equipment during fabrication and installation.
• Develop design drawings.
• Review and check drawings from contractors.
• Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of KPC HSE programs and practices.
• Assisting technical coordinator on the implementation of any action plan and giving feedback upon any improvement required.

Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma 3 Mechanical/ Civil or other related discipline with 3 years’ experience.
• Experience as draftsman in project environment and/or bulk handling equipment and process and/or mining environment.
• Good Leadership and Time Management skills.

13. SENIOR SAFETY AUDITOR
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Lead safety audit teams in the planning and execution of Fatality Prevention Element Audits of KPC Departments and Registered Contractors.
• Lead safety audit teams in the planning and execution of CMS Type of Work Assessments for new or existing Contractors requiring approval for additional Types of Work in a diverse range of fields.
• Lead safety audit teams in the planning and execution of Baseline Audits for new Contractors approximately 3-months after the commencement of their initial contract. Lead safety audit teams in the planning and execution of Fatality Prevention Element Audits of KPC Departments and Registered Contractors.
• Lead safety audit teams in the planning and execution SMKP internal audits, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 internal audits of KPC Departments.
• Lead safety audit teams in the planning and execution of Special Request Audits, which will be conducted as directed by KPC Safety Improvement and Contracts Committees.
• Promptly develop and distribute formal reports, which meet the required standard, based on the findings and recommendations of the audits and assessments.
• Respond to queries relating to audits and assessments from the auditees.

Qualifications:
• S1 in occupation health and safety science with 5 years’ experience or D3 in occupation health and safety science with 8 years’ experience, preferably from a mining environment.
• Excellent report writing both in Indonesian and English.
• Language Skill: Minimum Level 6 English.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for liaising with customers.
• Excellent knowledge and skill of audit at a level of being able to coach others.
• Thorough knowledge of Fatality Prevention Elements, PRIMA NIRBHAYA standards, SMKP, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and relevant legal requirements.
