ENGINEER – MECHANICAL (CPHD)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Plan and carry out engineering program, including development of design, calculation and technical review.
• Coordinate activities concerning technical developments, scheduling, and resolution of engineering design and test problems.
• Coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organising, controlling, integrating, and completing engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Perform, coordinate and supervise project execution and control, including tender process, evaluation, administration, and site construction, i.e., fabrication, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance/quality control.
• Assess risks on the project and implement controls.
• Schedule and monitor project progress.
• Prepare and submit report to Superintendent on project progress status on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of KPC HSE programs and practices.
• Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.
• Determine improvement target; find inefficiency root causes; determine and implement action plan; measure results; standardise; and continue the same process to other costly or inefficient programs using continuous improvement methods.

Qualifications:
• Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• As a guide, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical project construction and/or bulk material handling / conveyor and/or mining environment.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience in implementing Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
• Detailed understanding of mining industry.
• Good knowledge in Mechanical Standards and Codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong concerns for HSES.

ENGINEER – MECHANICAL (PORT FACILITIES)
(Fixed Term Position)

Key elements of the position include:
• Evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly port operation and maintenance performance such as plan versus actual.
• Analyse, review and provide feedback to contractor related to port operation and maintenance activities.
• Review and modify (if necessary) the monitoring system to spare parts for the availability and movement in order to ensure that parts are adequate to minimize the operation disruption.
• Conduct weekly inspection especially to the high risk potential failure are in the plant to identify earlier the potential severe failure that can impair the production.
• Oversee and control contractor’s activities based on contractual agreement in implementing coal processing and barging operational plan.
• Monitor the progress of all operational, maintenance, safety and logistic activities ensuring that delivery is within the program timeline and in accordance with the budget and KPC safety standards and requirements.
• Liaise with key PT. Dire Pratama, PT. Darma Henwa, PT. Trans Coal Pacific and other related contractors contacts to coordinate coal haulage, processing, and barging requirements and standards, and address specific concerns, and provide interface with relevant KPC divisions as required.
• Demonstrate and encourage acceptance and implementation of KPC HSE programs and practices.
• Manage and undertake annual budget planning tasks and related project work that includes production schedule and costing.
• Develop and maintain appropriate and efficient operating procedures and practices; apply the most optimum way in running every department’s program; negotiate with suppliers, contractors and external consultants.
• Control expenditures within limitations of project/contract budget
• Determine improvement target, find inefficiency root causes, determine and implement action plan, measure result, standardise, and continue the same process to other costly or inefficient programs using improvement methods.

Qualifications:
• Tertiary education in Mechanical from a reputable university.
• As a guide, a minimum of 4 years’ experience in bulk material handling, crushing plant and conveyor system.
• Computer software literate (Excel spread sheet, word processor, project management, and AutoCAD software).
• Understand and experience in the design of mechanical (crushing, conveyors etc.) and piping pump installation, operation and maintenance.
• Excellent communication, negotiations and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate conceptual skills, ability to manage and resolve conflict situations.

SPECIALIST – COMPETENCY MANAGEMENT
(Fixed Term Position)
Key elements of the position include:
• Perform/coordinate the development/updating of competency dictionaries, position profiles, and competency assessment tools.
• Coordinate the enhancement of competency management system applications.
• Facilitate/coordinate the implementation of individual development plans, competency assessments, and competency-based salary reviews.
• Perform/coordinate the implementation of career management and talent development programs.
• Coordinate the implementation of professional certifications and maintain good relationship with related parties (competency certification institutes, professional associations, etc.)
• Demonstrate and encourage the conformity to and implementation of HSE policies, rules and regulations.
• Initiate continuous improvement efforts within the designated areas.

Qualifications:
• Tertiary degree (S1) in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Industrial Engineering, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 (two) years relevant experience in human resources development, ideally with at least 1 (one) year in competency assessment, competency modeling, assessment tools development, and competency system.
• Knowledge of up-to-date human resources and competency management issues.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving and time management competencies.
• Interpersonal and communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong commitment to KPC vision, mission, values, and HSE standards.

SENIOR ENGINEER - MECHANICAL
(Fixed Term Position)
Key elements of the position include:
• Make technical and cost calculation with assistance from mechanic drafting section.
• Provide design, specification, and cost estimation for modifications and additions to maintenance and Operation dept. It should meet the International standards.
• Identify and develop solutions to existing problems to improve equipment performance, availability, reliability, maintainability, safety, and minimise/reduce costs and environmental impact.
• Submit the Capital Expenditure Application (CEA) for mechanical projects.
• Manage mechanical projects to ensure customer requirements are satisfied, also meet to KPC Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standard.
• Direct contractors to ensure that work is completed on time, within budget and to an acceptable standard.
• Promote and reinforce compliance with the KPC HSE rules and regulations among all employees.
• Monitor HSE aspects of projects activities.
• Provide feedback to plan and maintain optimum manning within the Mechanical group.
• Foster teamwork spirit and create a workplace culture among employees consistent with the KPC values.
• Provide feedback to Supt on applying the most optimum design, work method and material to maintain cost efficiency.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree (S1) Mechanical with 5 years relevant experience in wide variety of mechanical projects including mining industry and Power Plant.

SENIOR SPECIALIST - CONTRACT
(Fixed Term Position)
Key elements of the position include:

• Tender development and processing from tender issuance until contract award plus contract development in timely manner for all contract requests for both long-term service format and projects format.

• Facilitate the continuous improvement process of ongoing contracts.

• Facilitate and drive resolution meeting to obtain improvements for each issue in tendering process, ongoing contracts and post-contracts.

• Interpret contracts providing advice and support to operational personnel in contracts management.
• Liaise with customers to understand key elements of contractor performance and to identify performance criteria and develop methods to measure and manage that performance.
• Analysis of opportunities and issue to capture improvement.
• Administer management of performance based agreement for all type of contracts.
• Ensure and maintain tender or contract include KPC Standard as required and follow the procedure especially CMS procedure.
• Deliver analytical and negotiation skill to achieve the best cost for KPC.
• Handle major contract and solve big contractual problem.
• Provide assistance to Supt. Contract to Draft regular report of Contracts’ performance for Manager Contract, Contract Monitoring System, Feedback competency progress of Specialist Contract and Contract Officer, Continuous review on current procedure, Provide feedback for appraisal and evaluation of Contract Officer and Contract Specialist to assess their performance, Search and organize trainings for development and enhancement of Contract officer and Contract Specialist.

Qualifications:
• S1 (Bachelor) in Engineering with 5 years experiences in Engineering or Supply Chain with minimum 1 year Related experiences in Contract.
• Good communication in Indonesian and English.
• Extensive knowledge of prevailing laws and regulations, especially those related to commercial activities.
• Negotiation skills in dealing with contractual matters, claims and meetings.
• Skills in composing and review of contractual documents.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management and technical knowledge related to the services.
• Process mapping and facilitation skills.
• Understanding of mining process, equipment maintenance services, and related activities will be an advantage.
