Maintenance Advisor
Sangatta
Working as part of the maintenance excavator team you will mentor the national workforce ensuring safe, efficient breakdown diagnostics, general servicing, component replacements and overhauls are completed in a timely manner following correct maintenance and safety policies in both field and workshop environments
Responsibilities
- Train and mentor workforce in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnosis
- Focusing on efficiency and quality
- Support planned and breakdown maintenance teams to deliver a high level of fleet availability and reliability
- Continuously check all work for quality to ensure rework is minimized
- Produce technical reports as and when required
- Follow up with the factory on technical issuesReview and attend weekly maintenance planning meetings and shift handovers
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all departments and team members to assist in achieving key performance indicators
- Analyze equipment failures / trends, identify and implement strategies to improve
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures in the workplace
Competencies
- Dealing directly with customers
- Ability to mentor national workforce
- Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues, previous Liebherr experience would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work over normal scheduled work hours as required
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Skills in Word and Excel
