Specialist OHS
Location Indonesia - Sangatta Coal Mine
About the role
The Specialist OHS will be responsible for executing occupational health & safety programs so as safe working environments established
In this role, you will:
Lead by example to promote the realization of ONE HSE culture in the project.
Ensure Thiess standard, client requirements and applicable government regulations are complying in daily project operations.
Ensure the operational activities comply with Thiess standard and applicable Government Regulation.
Ensure lead indicator targets achieved by individual and provide monitoring on the target achievement by supervisor on field e.g.: Inspection, JO, CCV, and other programs run by project.
Ensure all action plans (from incident investigation, audit, inspection, hazard report, CCV, etc.) identified and recorded has been followed up and completed.
Actively train, coach and mentor the team member or the operational team member to improve their OHS competency.
Enter all information into Synergy if required, e.g.: Event, Action Plan, Hazard report, etc.
About you
Bachelor/Diploma Degree in mining OHS and/or Environmental
• Minimum 3 years in Mining Industries in same position
• Demonstrate your understanding on OHS Management and environment management system
• Proficient in computer literacy, English Language, Government regulation relates Health & Safety and their implementation
• Computer literate
