About the role
The Supervisor Community Relation will actively control the relationship between the company and the communities around the mine
In this role, you will:
Assist Project Manager of Public Relations to develop management plans that reflect the needs of the community, clients and give donation in securing the project.
Asist HR Superintendent helps in the planning and implementation of community programs
Make a CSR / Community Development program by looking at the potential of the region by following the Thiess / CIMIC SOP
Coordinate and communicate with the community, groups, community organizations, government agencies and military / police institutions including establishing communication / coordination with contractors and owners.
Maintaining close contacts with the Local Government, Manpower Department, Police Officials, BPJS, Government Legislative to get support to solve all the problem which related with community and employees.
Avoid situations resulting in a conflict of interest, bribery or the use of inducements to secure business
Develop, improve and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders (government, civil society, media, subcontractors, NGOs).
Develop and organize programs and events for the community that improves the public image of both local and out of the company and also improve health and living standards in the surrounding area, especially the area near.
Develop a communication bridge between the company and the surrounding community so that the company will better understand the needs community it in the present and the future, while the mining community will understand how they function, what the benefits of the presence of a mine for the surrounding area.
Managing incidental donation program to the communities that support both community activities and the activities of the company
Lobbying the appropriate level of government when an issue affecting mine or region requires a proper procedure
Monitor and manage all the potential problems that can interfere with the operation of Thiess
About you
University Degree from relevant study
Minimum of 5-8 years experiences in mining area dealing with Community / Security issues
Have a good understanding & managing society / security issues
Have an exposure in IR & HR
