We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:


OFFICER SAFETY – 9260301

Some of your duties will include:
• Coordinate the implementation of the project safety management program to ensure the identification and control of workplace risks to minimise exposure to personal injury and equipment damage;
• Maintain safety management systems implementation including planning, implementation, check & monitoring, and review based on OHSAS18001 "Safety Management Systems";
• Participate in all safety work related activities to gain understanding of all TCI safety management systems and programs develop a monthly safety flash based on incident trends;
• Assist line Supervisor and Superintendent to meet their OH&S accountabilities;
• Act as an expert safety trainer, advisor, inspector, and investigator as required;
• Compile daily, weekly and monthly bases safety report including safety performance, SBO achievement, inspection, high risk jobs;
• Manage all elements of safety data to improve safety performance.

What skills and experience do you need?
• Tertiary Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental qualifications or relevant qualifications, have experience on mining operation practice is more preferable with minimum of 3 years’ experience as Officer Safety.
• The candidate should have strong knowledge about safety, health & environment standard (SMK3, OHSAS 18001:2007, M-Safe) and government safety regulation; understand about HSE standard on mining and plant activities; Familiar with Safety management at all levels, Focus on Risk Management.
• The candidate should fluent in English both oral and written, and proficient in computer literacy; strong leadership; strong communication both of external and internal; self - motivated; an initiative person and able to work in team; innovative and problem solving; adaptability and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.

ENGINEER PLANT & ASSET RELIABILITY - 9260302

Some of your duties will include:
To be successful in this role you are required to:
• Demonstrate safety leadership in your own behaviour and your interactions with others
• Understand the key environmental risks associated with Maintenance operations, the controls to be implemented to manage the risk and the legislative compliance obligations
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutory obligations and Thiess and CIMIC policies.
• Coach and mentor individuals where appropriate to support business succession planning.
• Identify project-based opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce maintenance costs.
• Ongoing monitoring of plant reliability and development of improvement strategies.
• Liaise with the Plant & Asset Lead - Reliability to monitor, review, and update Fleet Reliability Processes.
• Standardize Reliability Reports and KPI’s.
• Identify operational factors that can impact equipment Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).
• Continually liaise with suppliers and OEM’s to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of maintenance work through enhanced reliability programs.
• Communicate innovations and improvements to key stakeholders in relation to reliability programs.
• Must be a team player, able to develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.

What skills and experience do you need?
• Trade qualification / engineering degree or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance activities with mobile plant maintenance operations and large mining equipment and has minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role;
• Should have Pareto Analysis and Reporting skills; Maintenance system skills; Fluid analysis; Reliability and Plant systems skills; Competent in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. JDE); Have Knowledge of contract management, including subcontractors;
• Strong leadership skill, have strong communication skill and Ability to negotiate with stakeholders and influence outcomes, Strong analytical skills, planning & organizing skills, proactive, team work, willing to learn, open communication, a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
• Good in written and spoken English language skills, English speaking is desirable; Proficient in MS Office.


SUPERVISOR AUTO ELECTRIC BIG DIGGER – 926303

Some of your duties will include:
• To apply the Thiess Management System and plant procedures within the work force in relation to Safety/Environment, Maintenance Planning, Recording/Register, Quality of Workmanship, Leadership within the and organizing of Workshop personnel;
• To ensure that maintenance department goals are achieved.
• Communication and reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between field crew and operations personnel on issues relating to breakdown of equipment.
• Monitor radio communication apparatus working in order and do repair when needed.
• Accurate completion of OCDC reporting, ensure clear description of repair, accurate time input, and all delays clearly reported.
• Actively share ideas making maintenance practice better to achieve department goals.
• Ensuring accurate breakdown hour information is provided.
• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required.
• Review of all checklists and electrical inspection sheets, submission to planning department (everyday), address all known work (create work order), breakdown and planned jobs.
• Planning and co-ordination of shut down work with the planning department (weekly planning meeting), keep update on 36-hour planning.
• Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in the field and associated area, this includes operator abuse.
• DOOD and service package completion quality are maintained.

What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Senior High School/Technical High School, Ex Apprentice Program; requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience in similar role in supervision level;
• Excellent knowledge on the Big Digger electrical system (Hitachi and Liebherr preferred); General electrical installation and maintenance; Fault finding and maintenance of automotive air conditioning systems; Fault finding, maintenance of all mobile equipment auto electrical systems;
• Good leadership skill, good communication in English as well Bahasa able to communicate to all level (internal/external), diligent, good in planning and organizing job.
